This trip can start North or South and go up or down on the map, but for the sake of this itinerary, we recommend starting in Colorado City and making your way south through the various stops in Mohave County!
Take in the beautiful sites and scenery, fill up on some gas and prepare yourself for a great Arizona adventure in Mohave County!
11am: The journey begins in Colorado City! Make sure you are prepared and gather up some goods and gas, before enjoying some gorgeous scenery at Cottonwood Point Wilderness where you’ll be immersed in Mohave County’s desert beauty.
1pm: After exploring some nature, grab a quick bite to eat at Edge of the World Brewery & Food Pub before heading out of town. The road ahead will take a few hours of driving to get to your next destination, but adventures are awaiting you in Mohave County! Plus, there are tons of attractions to check out on the way, if you choose!
5pm: Arrive into Bullhead City, AZ! Though you had to go through part of UT and NV to get here, you are back in AZ!
5:30pm: Check into your hotel at Lodge on the River. It’s a family friendly hotel that is near shops and places to eat. Settle in and then check out town, if you aren’t too exhausted from a full day of travel.
9am: Grab a good breakfast at Coyote Cafe II. Fill up and enjoy, because a day of adventure awaits! You’ll be checking out of Bullhead City, and preparing to stay in Oatman.
11am: After breakfast, get ready for some time in nature. Head to Mt. Nutt Wilderness - Cave Spring Trailhead for some hiking and exploring! It’s not a bad idea to pack your lunch.
3pm: After a day of checking out the surrounding wilderness, check into your hotel for the night, at the Oatman Hotel. Take some time to unwind before dinner.
6pm: You’ll likely be tired from your day exploring the great outdoors, so have dinner at the Oatman Hotel Restaurant & Bar. This will be an easy choice, as it is located in your hotel.
7pm: Evening brings more entertainment and old-west adventure. Walk around Historic Oatman for a relaxing evening of shopping, and then make your way to Olive Oatman Restaurant & Saloon for an evening drink, if you’re up for it.
9am: Get ready for a day of exploring the Ghost Town! Get a quick breakfast in so you’re fueled up and ready for a day experiencing Oatman Ghost Town.
12pm: After taking a step back in time, check out of your hotel, as the next stop on the trip is up ahead: Kingman.
1pm: You’ll arrive in Kingman in about an hour’s time, and you’ll likely be ready for a bite to eat! Grab some lunch at Mr. D'z Route 66 Diner before checking out Cool Historic Downtown Kingman. Use this opportunity to explore a bit of the famous Route 66.
3-4pm: Check into your hotel for the night, Best Western Plus King's Inn & Suites.
6pm: After taking some time to relax after travel and activities, it’s time to grab some dinner - head to Olympus Diner! After dinner, call it an early night - for tomorrow brings an early morning and plenty of travel.
8am: Get a nice and early start to the day, for some light driving is ahead of you. Grab a quick breakfast, check out of your hotel and hit the road towards Lake Havasu City!
9-10am: You’ll arrive at Lake Havasu City in a little over an hour. Check into your hotel at The Nautical Beachfront Resort.
11am: Get your swimsuit and towel and head to the beach! It’s time to enjoy laying in the sun and relaxing at Lake Havasu State Park!
2-3pm: After some time on the beach, grab a late lunch at Shugrue's Restaurant and Bar.
4pm: After your meal, check out the area and explore the history of the famous London Bridge! After all, it is right next to the restaurant!
6pm: Make your way to the Downtown District for some evening shopping, before heading back to the hotel for the night.
9pm: Get a good rest - You had an AMAZING time in Mohave County! But tomorrow brings an early morning as you prepare to drive home.
